The vision system can affect the result of the image quality, so it need to select a suitable lighting, it is an important point to affect the whole machine vision system.By selecting the suitable lighting, it could make the background to contrast with the object’s characteristics. Also improve the stability and reliability of inspection and upgrade the image processing speed. According to the type and characteristics of the product in the project, it needs to selected the suitable the type of lighting to meet the application effect. LOTS (Lighting & Optic tech specialist) Automation Technology Co., Ltd. is a professional machine vision lighting manufacturer, it has a research, development, technology and sales teams. I want to share a case that we done before, the product will show the special emitting structure, it can strengthen surface characteristics and good uniformly. That is low angle shadowless light. It could improve contrast, reducing reflections and light spot.

2.Case analysis

This product is an instrument panel and we need to inspect the position of the character also the watch hand. The problem is light spot and nonuniformity, even affect the inspection. because the instrument panel surface material is glass and have strong reflective.so it needs to selected the right model.
